Empowering youth to lead change, one voice at a time.
School Based Program
What is the school based program?
One Day At a Time (ODAT) is a school-linked youth development and mentoring program dedicated to supporting students’ academic success, personal growth, and overall well-being. By integrating school, family, and community resources, ODAT addresses challenges such as low self-esteem, academic struggles, family conflict, substance abuse, violence, and negative peer influences.
At the heart of ODAT is a simple but powerful belief: positive, trusting relationships change lives. Through consistent mentorship, safe spaces, and meaningful experiences, ODAT helps youth build confidence, make positive choices, and envision a successful future.
Our Mission
ODAT’s mission is to empower middle and high school students to thrive academically and personally by fostering trust, resilience, accountability, and leadership. We meet youth where they are — whether they are excelling academically, struggling with confidence, or navigating serious life challenges — and support them one day at a time.
